Send EUR to bank accounts across the SEPA area, from a EUR account or from a USD account with Altitude converting for you.
Send a payment
Select Pay from the dashboard.
Choose the recipient, or add a new one with their IBAN.
Pick their bank account. SEPA is selected automatically.
Choose the EUR or USD account to pay from and enter the amount.
Add a reference, invoice details or attachments if you need them, then select Create.
Approve the payment in your Inbox to send it.
Recipients see your business name. Payments arrive under your legal entity name, and your payment reference shows on their bank statement, so use it to point to an invoice.
Processing times
Most SEPA payments arrive within minutes via SEPA Instant. If the recipient's bank doesn't support it, the payment takes 1–3 business days.
Fees and minimums
SEPA payments from a EUR account are free. From a USD account, the rate includes 0.4% above the mid-market rate, and you see exactly what the recipient gets before you send. The minimum is €5 per transfer. See How payments work for how rates are set.
Supported countries
SEPA reaches bank accounts in every EU country, plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and a few other participating countries.
Payment confirmations
Open a completed payment in Transactions and select Download confirmation for a PDF you can share as proof of payment. See Statements and documents for what it contains.
