Altitude generates the documents your accountant, a payer or a counterparty will ask for. Most are under Settings › Documents; the two statements are emailed, everything else downloads straight away.
Which document do you need?
Document | Use it when | Where to get it |
Account statement | You need activity for a period: month-end, audit, bookkeeping | Settings › Documents, Transactions › Export or any account page |
Balance summary | You need a snapshot of balances across every account | Settings › Documents |
Account details | A payer asks where to send money | Settings › Documents, any account page or Deposit |
Account confirmation letter | Someone needs proof that your business holds an account | Settings › Documents |
Accounts and services summary | You need a record of the accounts and services in your workspace | Settings › Documents |
Card statement | You need posted card spend for a month | Settings › Documents or Cards › Transactions |
Transfer confirmation | A recipient wants proof that an outgoing payment completed | Open the payment on Transactions |
Account statement
Posted transactions for one account or all accounts over a period, as a PDF statement or a CSV for your accounting software.
Go to Settings › Documents.
Select Download next to Account statement. You can also select Export on Transactions or any account page.
Choose a Format: PDF or CSV.
Choose a Period, or set a custom range.
Choose an Account or All accounts. Add a Counterparty if you need one.
Select Export. Altitude emails you a download link when the file is ready.
For each account, the PDF shows:
Opening and closing balance, total inflows and outflows
Every transaction with its running balance, newest first
Posted transactions only – nothing pending
The CSV holds the same transactions in a QuickBooks-compatible layout.
Note: Statements go to the requester's email from [email protected], usually within minutes. The link opens Settings › Documents and starts the download.
Balance summary
The balance in every account and asset at the moment you generate it, followed by the receiving address of each account.
Go to Settings › Documents.
Select Download next to Balance summary.
The summary shows current balances only. For activity over a period, use an account statement.
Account details
Your receiving details on Altitude letterhead, ready to send to a payer: wallet addresses by network and bank details for each rail, with your business as beneficiary.
Go to Settings › Documents.
Select Download next to Account details.
Tick the accounts to include. Each account gets its own section in one PDF.
Select Download.
Account details on any account page opens the same dialog with that account pre-ticked. In Deposit, select Download instructions on the first step or Download on the bank details step for that account's PDF alone.
Important: Account details are payment instructions, not proof of balance – share them only with people who will pay you. For balances, use the balance summary; for proof you hold an account, the account confirmation letter.
Account confirmation letter
A letter confirming that your business holds an account in good standing with Altitude, showing your legal name, registration number, registered address and account opening date. Available once your business verification is approved.
Go to Settings › Documents.
Select Download next to Account confirmation letter.
The letter carries no bank details or balances, so you can share it freely. If the recipient also needs payment instructions, send the Account details PDF alongside it.
Accounts and services summary
A record of every account in your workspace with its receiving details, and the Altitude services you use.
Go to Settings › Documents.
Select Download next to Accounts and services summary.
Card statement
Posted card spend for a calendar month, for one card or all cards on your card account. Available when your workspace has cards.
Go to Settings › Documents.
Select Download next to Card statement. You can also select Export transactions on Cards › Transactions.
Choose a Scope: All cards, or A single card and select the card.
Choose a Billing period.
Select Download. Altitude emails you a download link when the statement is ready.
The statement shows:
Totals for payments, refunds and net spend
Each posted transaction with its transaction and posting dates
Original currency and amount for foreign purchases
Pending authorizations appear once they settle. The all-cards version groups spend by cardholder and omits card numbers.
Transfer confirmation
Proof that an outgoing bank or stablecoin payment completed, for the recipient or their bank. Card payments do not have one.
Go to Transactions and open the completed payment.
Select Download confirmation at the bottom of the panel.
The confirmation shows status, amount, sender, time sent and destination, plus the rail reference or on-chain signature the recipient's bank can trace.
